The Compass tool in the classroom version consists of two parts, a teacher part and a pupil part. Both have an initial start and a re-join existing session after session-breakdown.

As a Teacher (moderator)

For initial start of a session, enter username and password and click Login.

After that, fill-in requested information and <Enter> the session. A starting-screen appears with the Pincode; write this down somewhere (for re-starts) and communicate it to the pupils. A counter shows how many pupils logged in to the session; when all logged in or you want to start anyway, click Start.

In presenting the test:

• in case full-page questions or slides are used and the buttons for previous/next are not visible, remember that you can also use the default-button through <Enter> on your keyboard; saves scrolling down. 

For re-start (re-join) of a running session, after a crash, NOT WORKING YET

As a Pupil

For initial start (join) of a session, enter pincode, as received from your teacher, and click Join.

After that, choose an avatar and click Start.

Once the session is started by the teacher, in the top of your screen you wil see your personal ID (p-999999), write this down somewhere. In the top-right corner you can choose a different language if desired.

For re-start (re-join) of a running session, after a crash, enter User ID (= personal ID) and pincode, and click Rejoin. In case you forgot your personnel ID, you can ask your teacher to maybe help you out.
